In addition, in addition to the Windows 10 for PC version, there are also Windows 10 for Mobile versions for mobile phones. It is said that RTM will also arrive soon, and posts from some users of Xiaomi 4 who have brushed Win10 have also been exposed online. Unlike PC and Mobile versions, the IoT version is targeted at applications in the field of the Internet of Things. Almost at the same time as PC RTM, Windows 10 IoT Core is also RTM, and Microsoft has opened up downloads. The download address is:

The upgrade of Raspberry Pi is relatively simple, just by burning the system image of the SD card again. MBM is relatively more complex, as it is an Intel chip on x86, so it also needs to manually update its firmware. Below, we will introduce several parts, including firmware updates and image burning.
1. MBM firmware update
This is very important. If the MBM you have just purchased from Taobao, you must update its firmware to run the latest Win 10 IoT Core. Otherwise, simply burning the SD card and placing it on the MBM cannot run the Win 10 IoT system. Below is a simple graphic and textual explanation.
Firstly, download the latest firmware from Intel's official website (address: Link), which is currently version 0.81-Release. Then, copy the two. efi and. bin files to a FAT formatted USB drive. As shown in the following figure.
Connect the keyboard, monitor, and power supply to the MBM, insert a USB flash drive, and after powering on, if everything is normal, you can see the UEFI command line on the monitor. Afterwards, enter the following command on the command line:

Afterwards, the system will update the firmware and automatically shut down after the firmware update is completed.
2. Install RTM tools and burn system images
Unlike the preview version, users no longer need to execute various commands on the command line to burn the system image. Microsoft provides a graphical tool to facilitate this burning process. As I am using MBM, the following will take MBM as an example to describe its process.
Firstly, load the previously downloaded RTM package and start the installation
After the installation is completed, prompt the directory where all files are stored.
Navigating to this directory, there are more folders such as IoTCoreImageHelper program and FFU than the previous version of the tool.
Run IoTCoreImageHelper to start burning the image
The system will automatically detect the current USB storage, select the drive letter where the SD card is located, and select the image to be burned. Here, MBM's Windows 10 IoT Core Image is used.
After clicking Flash, start burning and display the progress
After the burning is completed, a successful message will pop up.
Then, the SD card was removed from the USB and inserted into the SD card slot of the MBM, completing the burning and writing of the system image.
3. Features added in the new version
Finally, let's take a look at the operation of the new version. After startup, it was found that support for multiple languages has been added, including Chinese and Awesome!
